Ron "Shoulders" the Load!

It was an entertaining win last night! Beat the Orange Bastards 6-2!  First we had to hear the story of Ron's dislocated shoulder....and surprisingly it wasn't reaching for the cookie jar or pulling a Griswald and falling off a ladder putting up Xmas lights that did it.  It was lifting his daughters ringette bag out of the van.  Ok, that was a let down, but on the positive side Ron came back with a vengence and posted one of his best games of the year!
On the Blue Line we had myself, Matt, Brian, & PA.  Up front we had JP, Gilles, Guy, Ti-Boy, Karl, and Ken.
Things started off grand as the game started and the first change on the fly, Karl Barter threw his legs over the boards to hit the ice and promptly fell flat on his Ass.  But you can't keep a good man down...or maybe you can.  He pops up only to fall flat on his Ass again!
HE LEFT ONE SKATE GUARD ON!  BAHAHAHAHAHAH (catch my breath), BHAHAHAHAHA!
We got the first one to make it 1-0.  Then I pulled a classic.  On the point in their end, the puck carems off the boards and I'm thinking, (and there's where the problem started), I'm going to one time it towards the net...no I'm going to stop it...no I'm going to one time....there it goes right between my legs. Nice one McCluskey ya Rockhead!
So, ya like my Five Hole?
No damage done, we got another and then they popped one in to make it 2-1, and that was as close as they came.  Guy had one of those nights!  He got four on the night. Seemed everything he put at the net went in.  I think Chicky-Poo at the other end is sweet on him or something.  Matt found the Five Hole on her on a shot from the point after we won the face off,  and Ken pulled a classic Toe drag at the blue line and he banged it through the Five Hole. She does have a lovely Five Hole.
Special shout goes out to Ti-Boy who played center and was actually spotted backchecking and clogging up the slot on more than one occasion.
The last five minutes we did everything except pull a "Gauvin" and score on our own net.  We bumbled, and stumbeled our way in our own end and Ron kept making the stops.  Brian had a lovely dipsy-doodle on our Blue Line in the final minute, lost the puck, and let Buddy walk in all alone....but Ron would have non of it!  So there ya have it!  At the buzzer it was 6-2 for the good guys, take that ya Orange Bastards!
