Orange Pumpkins

Little late with this update.  Beat the Orange Bastards, 6-3.  They've improved a bit over last year so it should make it more interesting.
Mmmm let me see if I can remember who was there.  On the blue line we had Pierre, Matt, Brian and Andy (first time out).  Upfront we had myself, PA, Gilles, Hob, Joey, JP and "new guy" Rene.
They may have gotten to within 2 at one point, but it was never really in doubt.
They got one due to one of Ronnie's Classis puck handling "adventures" which always adds a little spice.
Hob got a crazy short handed goal by missing a breakaway, then picking up the puck in the corner, then skate right back out front to score while their two D-Men peeled off and went for a skate after the initial shot.

Seeing RED

ShitWad Aube
Stuck it to the Red Bastards.  Beat 'em down 6-1.  Up front we had Hob, Remi, Gilles, JP, PA, TiBoy, TiGas, and myself.  On the blue line we had Matt, Brian, Marc, and Go20.
I was never really close. We were up 3-0 and they got one to make it 3-1 and that was as close as they got.  We skated them into the ground, yes, you read that right, they only had two lines, and we wore them out.
Of course with a blowout, it got chippy.  Marc and one of there guys got tossed.  They then stood outside they dressing rooms and as TiGas put it best, pulled a ..."You hang up. No. You hang up"

It didn't help that ShitWad Aube was refereeing.
So there ya have it, didn't take long to pick up right where we left off with the Red Bastards.

2013/ 14 Season Kick off

Here we go again, another season begins.  Going to be a little different this year.  We gave up an ice time on Saturday, so we won't be playing every weekend.

We kicked things off with a 4-4 Tie with the Blue Bastards.  On the blue line we had Go20, Ti-Gars, and Matt. Up front we had JP, PA, Gilles, Ti-Boy, Karl, and myself.  We never trailed.  We got up 2-0 only to see them get one back to make it 2-1.  Then tied with a power play goal.  We got up 3-2, and they tied it again.  We got up one again to make it 4-3 but we couldn't hang on. They tied it again, when we had a shitty line change and didn't get back to help out.

The highlight of the night wasn't on the ice.  It was Matt telling us how he delivered his own baby on his new bathroom floor.  Pretty amazing shit.  With the sirens in the background, and talking to the dude on 911, his wife gave birth right there in their newly remodeled bathroom....Ka-Blam!  Everybody is healthy, although we think Matt may be traumatized for years to come. Actually I think some of us may be traumatized from just hearing the retelling of the event!
