Third in a row...

I hate! the Blue Bastards

Son of a bitch!  Lost the third in a row to the 'effing Blue Bastards, 3-2.  On the back end we had Matt, Brian, Go20, and Ti-Gars.  Up front we had Gilles, PA, Karl, Guy, Jeff, Ti-Boy, and myself.  
We got on the board first, but they came back with three straight.  We pulled to within one with about 10 minutes to go.  We had our chances but couldn't find the equalizer.
DAMN! That's three in a row to those dick smacks!  At least we can say we were much more competitive this time around.

On another note Ti-Boy dug up a couple of shots from last years road trip!

Stuck it to em again!

Quite the game Saturday.  Both teams had 3 lines...Ya, when's the last time that both teams had three lines AND on a Saturday.  Another come from behind 3-2 against the Red Bastards.  On the back end we had Brian, Marc, Andy, and Ti-Gars.  Upfront we had Gilles, myself, Ti-Boy (back from IR), Remi, Ken, PA, Guy and special guests up front Matt, and Go20!
Remi got the first one, then they came back to score two to make it 2-1. Ronnie turned in a gem and battled all night.  Although he did pul a "Ronny" as he came out to clear the puck.  It ended up on their stick and he put it over to a wide open player in the circle.  He stopped, looked, and promptly fired it from 15ft toward the wide open net and....TING! Right off the post.  At the other end we peppered Rob the "Red Bastard".  Goals were hard to come by.  It was a good game. Gilles finally tied it for us.  I intercepted a pass behind their net and put it out front to Gilles.  Rob stopped the initial shot but Gilles scooped up the rebound to tie it up.  
PA, who had been snake bit all night, missed a bunch but got the winner by banging home a loose puck on a scramble in front of Rob. They pulled their goalie and it was a wild last two minutes of course but we hung on. So there ya have it, 3-2 for the good guys. Take that, ya Red Bastards!

Same old Orange

Yo! Go20 here!  Word!
Fo' shizzle wit my nizzle

Beat the Orange Bastards 5-3.  On the back end we had Brian, Marc, Matt, and Andy.  Upfront we had myself, JP, Gilles, Guy, PA, Karl, and special guest Go20.  Thats Go20, get it?  Go-vingt....Ya anyway he's coming out with a new rap album under that moniker. 
Can't remember who got all the goals, but we maintained a solid advantage in play.  Ronnie was solid and we never trailed.  They fought back a couple of times down by two to get within one, but no go.  
We had a ton of chances and should have put this one out of reach, but chicky-poo at the other end made some good stops.  
Maybe because it was Valentine's we went a little soft on her.
So there ya have it.  5-3 for the good guys, take that ya Orange Bastards!

Storming Back!

Yeah, Baby!  Took down the Red Bitches 3-2 last night in what must have been a gut wrenching loss for those Turds!  On the blue line we had Marc, Matt, Ti-Gars, and Pierre.  Upfront, JP, Giles, myself, Guy, Karl, and PA.
It was a quick paced game and we came out pretty good and were getting our shots. We skated much better last night. The Red Bitches had a full squad.  They got on the board first, then a few minutes later while we had a power play, they got the second on a bad line change to make it 2-0 with a short handed on.  
Queue the comeback.  We got our first one with a nice give and go with Gilles and JP and JP banged it home to break this ice.  Guy tied it up and finished a nice passing play and snapped one home from the slot to make it 2-2.  It stayed that way for a while, as we traded penalties.  We found ourselves short hand again, but Guy made a play as he carried it in across their blue line with a backchecker all over him.  The D faded over to help and left me wide open in the slot.  Guy slid it out front and I FINALLY put one in behind Rob with a one timer in the slot right along the ice.  There was still about 10 minutes to go.  We kept skating and kept the pressure on.  Ron was solid but we definitely carried the play and had more shots.  They pulled Rob and there was a mad scramble in our end.  The play was called with Marc getting into it in front of our net and was going to get called for the penalty shot, but Red Bitch #10 started "Bitching" and the Ref called him as well.  The pissing and moaning continued and it managed to kill off a good 30 seconds and we hung on for the 3-2 win.  Three unanswered goals to storm back for the win. Take that ya Rd Bitches!

Tougher than it had to be

Me dere, I'm da First Star!

Late post on this one.  We beat he Orange Bastards 4-3, but we made it a lot tougher than it had to be.  Can't remember who was there, but we carried the play for most of the game and we missed a shitload of goals.  I personally hit TWO posts and could easily have had 3 or 4 goals.  JP missed a clear breakaway from center and just about everybody had their chances.  
Ti-Gars was the "Premiere Etoile" with two goals and lead the charge playing center.
There ya have it, 4-3 for the good guys, take that ya Orange Bastards.

Drop second in a row to the Blue Bastards

We dropped a second in a row to the Blue Bastards 4-1.  We got a very late goal to save a bit of pride and not get shutout.
Upfront we had myself, Guy, Ti-Gars, Ken, Hob, and PA.  On the blue line we had Gauvin, Matt, and Brian.
I think Guy summed it up best after a couple of beers. 
"We played like a bunch of Old Ladies and if it had not be for Ron it would have been a lot worse"
You won't get an argument from me.
